6. German-Russian Logistics Forum

The 6th German-Russian Logistics Forum, co-organized by Chapter Russia of the BVL International on April 16 at the Hotel Metropol in Moscow, was a complete success. Parallel to the international transport and logistics trade fair "TransRussia", 250 high-professional participants used the great opportunity for personal exchange on shared experiences and perspectives in logistics, transport and traffic, informed themselves about current trends and innovations, received useful impulses from the organized Logistics Talks on the exciting topics „Logistics 4.0“, „Contract Logistics“, „New Silk Road“ and „Logistics of the Future“. Right at the beginning, an MOU was signed between CEO of Hamburg Port Marketing e.V., Mr. Ingo Egloff, and the Executive Director of the Russian "Digital Transport and Logistics Association”, Mr. Anton Zamkov. Professional contributions made i.a. the CEOs of Metrans, Kuehne+Nagel Russia/ CIS, Transcontainer, DB Cargo Russia and STS Logistics. On the subject of trimodality Mr. Vladimir Markin, Deputy Director of Moscow Canal. The CEO of LUNO Group, Mirco Nowak, moderated two of four Logistics Talks and presented BVL International and his Chapter Russia, which he has been heading since 2011. The evening reception for effective networking was opened by Minister Christian Pegel from the Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and State Councilor Dr. Ing. Torsten Sevecke from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
